Catch Bugs Beginner Guide
Catch Bugs is a tycoon, not a shooter. Most progress comes from the vivarium and net order, not from grinding harder. Follow this five-step route in order.
Step 1 — Grasslands basics
Catch everything you see. Common bugs are still cash. Place your first rare bug in the vivarium — do not sell it.
Step 2 — Buy the Fast Net
Save 8,000 cash and buy the Fast Net immediately. Swing speed is the biggest early-game multiplier.
Step 3 — Crawlwood and Royal Net
Open Crawlwood, stockpile rares in the vivarium, and save 76,000 for the Royal Net. Do not skip to Bone Net videos — Royal Net first.
Step 4 — Moon Hollow night hunt
Enter Moon Hollow after buying Royal Net. Wait until 6:30 PM and catch Crescent Wing Butterfly — your first Secret Tomb key.
Step 5 — Deeproot Caves
Farm Deeproot Caves for Wasp Moth (tomb key #2) and start cave statue quests. Bring a light lure for visibility.
